The Niebelungelied in the Rhubarb Tree was my first garment accepted into the wearable arts awards in 2002. The garment was inspired by a tale my dad told me about a little creature who lived in the bottom of the garden. The garment was a finalist in he children’s section and awarded the runner up Wales and McKinley Silk award.
